Trouble Involving Town Fans

A small number of Ipswich fans found themselves in the middle of football related violence on Saturday night at Manningtree train station.

Around 50 people were caught up in the violence that started when a group of around 15 Queens Park Rangers "fans" left the train to London at Manningtree station and then proceeded the burst into the stations buffet throwing bottles and punching Ipswich fans.

The attack ended when the QPR "fans" got back onto the train leaving behind a scene of chaos in which 3 people were injured and one more had to be taken to Colchester hospital.

So far four people have been arrested and questioned by the British Transport Police on charges up to causing actual bodily harm.

Why is it fans from big cities think they can come and cause hassle when they get out to "the sticks"

How could fifteen QPR fans get away with this if there were around fifty Ipswich people there??!
