Town midfielder Owen Garvan has been named the full Republic of Ireland squad for a training camp and two friendlies later this month.
Garvan was named in a 40 man squad for the training camp last month and he has retained his place in the trimmed down squad of 28 for the training camp and the friendlies against Serbia on the 24th of May at Croke Park and Colombia on the 29th of May at Craven Cottage.
Garvan: "It was a great honour to be picked for the squad of 40 so I'm obviously delighted to make the last 28. That was my first target, Don Givens told me that he was putting my name forward to Mr Trapattoni and hopefully it's a sign that I am making progress.
"It should be a great experience and I'm really looking forward to it. With a new manager in charge, it's a chance for some of the younger players to make an impression."
