McEveley To Return?

Derby County defender and former Town loanee Jay McEveley is being linked with a return to Town during the summer.

The defender, now 22 is reportedly one of the players who will be allowed to leave Pride Park during the summer as Paul Jewell looks to rebuild the Derby side that crashed out of the premiership last season.

During his loan spell at Town during the 05/06 season Jay made 17 appearances for Town despite being out for a large part of the season because of a knee injury, Town were keen on signing Jay back then but he was out of Town's price range although with the money coming in from Marcus Evans Town should be able to sign Jay who cost Derby £600,000 in January last year.

Would you welcome Jay back to Town? Leave your view below.

When he was here a few years back he looked alright, maybe that knee injury and playing for blackburns reserves for a year or so destroyed him.

I think it's a case of crossed wires here isn't it. I believe it's Leicester city defender Gareth McAuley We're chasing!
