Canada Call For Jaime

Town midfielder Jaime Peters has been called into the Canada squad that will face Brazil and Panama in friendlies next week.

The 21-year-old winger spent most of last season out of favour at Town and ended the season on-loan at Yeovil but that doesn't appear to have damaged his international chances, something which troubles Town manager Jim Magilton.

Jim: "It's Brazil so you can't say no to Jaime playing but he played for Canada in the summer last season and it did affect him pre-season, there is obviously the travelling involved and he came back to us and wasn't as sharp as we would have liked. He was playing catch up from early on."

Danny Haynes was playing 'catch up' all season Jim, yet you still played him every week, give Peters a chance, and let yer 'mates' earn the right to play!!!!
