Agent: Town Keen On Mpenza

Emile Mpenza's agent Rachid Tajmout says Town along with Bolton, Reading, Leicester City and Turkish side Trabzonspor want to sign the Belgium striker.

Mpenza has been released by Manchester City after struggling to get first team games last season under Sven-Göran Eriksson and if his agent is to be believed he already has clubs wanting his signature.

Tajmout said: "Because Emile wants to stay in England, I am negotiating with Bolton in the Premier League, two clubs in the Championship, Reading and Ipswich, as well as Leicester who have been relegated. Trabzonspor, who almost signed Mpenza before, are still in the running."
