Town midfielder David Norris has started some light training again after being out of action since March with a heel injury.

Norris signed from Plymouth in January but was hindered by a heel injury which finally caused him to miss the final 6 weeks of the season, but after surgery he has been given the go ahead to do some training again.

Town physio Matt Byard: "He is making good progress.

"A specialist saw David last week and he was very happy with the way things are going.

"David has started his rehabilitation in earnest now, with bike work and swimming and is scheduled to start light jogging next week.

"We are monitoring him carefully but if he continues to progress we are hopeful that he will start pre-season around the same time as the other players."
