Balkestein This Week?

Town chief executive Derek Bowden says Town will have hopefully signed Pim Balkestein by the end of this week.

The 21-year-old had a trial at Town towards the end of last season and now a fee has been agreed with Heerenveen its just a case of agreeing terms with the player.

Town chief executive Bowden: "We have agreed terms with his club and we are meeting with his representatives. Now we need to agree personal terms with him and then he has to have medical.

"Hopefully that can be concluded this week."
