Jim On Fixture Day

Town manager Jim Magilton says he will be looking to the fixtures coming out on Monday as much as the biggest Town fan.

Jim: "When the fixtures come out, you start to get a taste for the new season, I'm looking forward to next year. I felt that way straight after the Hull game at the end of last season and I'll be keeping a keen eye out on Monday for the fixtures.

"Pre-season training starts in a couple of weeks and when the players are back and the banter is flying around, the hairs on the back of your neck stand up because you know another year is just around the corner.

"Obviously it's important for us to get a good start and it's important that the new players that we will bring in will gel quickly. It's all about pieces of the jigsaw dropping into place."
