Town Eyeing Guerra

Town manager Jim Magilton has named Barcelona B José Emilio Guerra as one of the players he has made an enquiry about so far this summer.

The 26-year-old striker has scored 86 goals in 132 appearances during his career so far but he is yet to make a first team appearance for the Spanish giants.

Magilton said: "If I could get Guerra I would. We have made an enquiry to Barcelona about him and we will see what happens.

"I have been to see him play and he is a top quality striker who has a tremendous goal-scoring record."

Elsewhere Town are being linked with Coventry's Leon Best and are reportedly in talks with released Sunderland defender Ian Harte, Town were linked with both Best and Harte back in January.
