Dean Offered Deal

Town striker Dean Bowditch has been offered the chance to stay at Town and possibly put his career back on track.

The 22-year-old striker, who has so far failed to live up to the expectations of Town fans after his debut against Norwich in 2002 has been offered the chance to save his Town career by Jim Magilton who wants Dean to rediscover so of his earlier form.

Jim: at the end of this month, with Magilton saying: "I have offered Dean a new one-year contract.

"He is on holiday at the moment and is considering his options.

"When he returns I expect to sit down with him and see where we go from here."
