Brentford 0-2 Town

Town's continued their good start to pre-season with a 2-0 win against League Two side Brentford at Griffin Park last night.
Only one of Town's new signing was on show last night, Dutch defender Pim Balkestein started alongside captain for the night Alex Bruce in the centre of defence with Chris Casement and David Wright on either side. David Norris, Tommy Miller, Owen Garvan and Alan Quinn started in midfield with Walters and Counago up front.
The home side started better with Marvin Williams causing Town problem's down the right side. Shane Supple who started in goal for Town denied Charlie MacDonald and Moses Ademola. Nathan Elder twice headed over the bar before Town had a shot.
Counago and Quinn linked up well to set up Jon Walters whose shot was pushed wide by Ben Hamer in the Bees goal. Counago set up Garvan who tried his luck from 30-yards only for Hamer to tip the ball over, Hamer also denied Tommy Miller when he saved Miller's free-kick.
Brentford changed nearly the entire side at half time, while Town made just one with Haynes coming on for Norris.
Town took the lead after 58 minutes when Dutch defender Pim Balkestein headed in Chris Casement's cross. Town made five changes soon after with Trotter, Sumulikoski, Roberts, Lee and Rhodes coming on for Miller, Garvan, Quinn, Walters and Counago.
Brentford made wholesale changes at half-time, almost the whole side, and Town took advantage when Balkestein headed in a Chris Casement cross in the 58th minute.
Haynes wrapped up the win for Town when he was awarded a penalty which was saved but Haynes was on hand to head the ball in.
