Wright To Sign Today?

Town are expected to complete the signing of West Ham goalkeeper Richard Wright later today after the 30-year-old passed a medical at Town.

Wright left Town 7 years ago to join Arsenal in a £6 million move where he was expected to replace David Seaman as club and country goalkeeper but things didn't work out and he moved to Everton where his career became plagued with injuries before he was released and joined West Ham on free transfer but he failed to dislodge Rob Green from between the sticks and is now on the verge of a return to Town.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "We are very, very close. Everything is done and dusted as far as we are concerned. We are waiting on the West Ham end now.

"Richard has passed a medical so everything is at the late stages."
