Jim Pleased With Win

Town manager Jim Magilton is pleased with his players following the 2-1 win against Tony Mowbray's West Brom in a friendly yesterday.
West Brom's Ishmael Miller gave the baggies the lead 5 minutes before half time but Town were level a minute later when Tommy Miller converted a penalty. Town snatched the win in the final minute when Kevin Lisbie fired past Scott Carson from 14-yards.
Jim: "Obviously the result is important but at this stage of pre-season, it's all about getting the miles into the players, I was delighted with the application and attitude of the players. It was first class and the game is a stepping stone to August 9 and Preston.
"We probably had the better of two refereeing decisions but we passed the ball well against a Premier League team.
"Tommy Smith will be all the better for 90 minutes against that class opposition and we have come through the game with no injuries I think."
