Norris Injury

Town midfielder David Norris will miss the start of next season after suffering a new heal injury during Town's pre-season game against Brentford.

The 27-year-old January signing missed the last 6 weeks of last season with an unrelated heel problem and he is expected to miss the first two weeks of next season with the new injury.

Town physio Matt Byard: "David had made a good recovery from surgery, but has picked up a completely new injury.

"It's in the same area however and we must wait for the inflammation to settle down before David can step up his training."

well jim played him out on the left, not playing in the centre where he played for plymouth, where tommy miller and owen garvan played very under par and over rated played all season in the centre, sorry leggi thats not giving him a fair crack of the whip

yeah I agree duck, he should have dropped Miller way back in January and put Norris in his preferred position. I think Norris will be fine once he's settled in anyway

Re: Richards and Roberts, I stated that the 'boo-boys' forced these 2 out, I am not a boo-boy and would never boo one of our own!!(Sm154)
RE: Pablo and Miller, You seem to really rate Pablo, now either you have a thing for him(oo-er missus(Sm151)) or you don't know your footy, I don't know if you get to many away games(I can't get to many home ones) but if you do, you watch him, if things are'nt going his way in the first 15mins, thats it, his head drops and that us playing with 10 men, add 'The invisible man' Miller to this and we're playing with 9 men, hence we only won 2 away games last season.
I'm not 'getting on their backs' (as you put it) as I'm sure they don't read this site anyway, just stating MY opinion. If you think they are up to the job then so be it!!
Re Norris: I said he has done nothing for us since he joined us. That is a fact.(unless you can tell me any different of course)

(It seems to me you are after an arguement everytime you post somthing to me, MF, on here. You sure you're not one of the t1ts from monkeyboys?!?!!?)

Leggi's right about one thing, booing certain players, what's that in aid of? I watched us playing Brighton a couple o seasons back and the way the "fans" got after Richards was unbelievable. Chanting off, off, off when the ref was about to book him. That was his time up right then and there. FFS!!

roberts fell out of favour with jim thats plain to see, richards was yet again a hyped up youngster whose skill was'nt up to scatch, the boo boys only got on his back when it was very much plain to see

It is plain to see Richards doesn't have much skill but at least he works and doesn't let opposition players stroll past him and score. You can't justify recking a players confidence. Big teams pull behind their players good days or not and that's part of the reason why they stay big.
