Reports in the media today are suggesting that Portsmouth striker David Nugent could now be ready to drop back down to the Championship and Ben Thatcher could be coming to Town.

Nugent has so far rejected Town's offer to join them, instead wanting to sit on the bench at Portsmouth next season but reports in the media today and yesterday suggest he may now want to drop back to the Championship in order to get games and put his career back on track.

Elsewhere Ben Thatcher has reportedly said he would be happy with a move to Town but both parties are currently unable to personal terms.
