Sir Bobby Aiming For £1Million

Town and England legend Sir Bobby Robson wants to raise £1 million for The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation after fundraising so far has seen the foundation raise £200,000 more then the original target.

Sir Bobby started the foundation in March this year with the intention of raising £500,000 to help fund a cancer research unit at the Freeman hospital in Newcastle, to date it has raised nearly £700,000 and now Sir Bobby is aiming to raise £1 million by Christmas.

Sir Bobby: "Our total keeps going up and up. I would like to sincerely thank everyone for their amazing generosity.

"Please keep donating and fundraising - if we could raise £1million before Christmas that would be absolutely amazing".
