Volz bid Accepted?

It is being reported that Town have had a £500,000 bid for Fulham defender Moritz Volz accepted by the West London Club.

The 25-year-old German defender started his career at Schalke 04 but joined Arsenal in 1999 without making a senior appearance for Schalke. He struggled to get on the pitch at Highbury and was loaned to Wimbledon and Fulham before making a permanent move to Craven Cottage in 2004.

Volz has since gone on to make more then 100 appearances for Fulham but only 12 of them came last season. The slightly mad German rides a folding bicycle to Fulham's home games and has attained cult status at Fulham because of it.
