Nugent Rejects Town

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp says David Nugent has rejected the chance to come to Portman Road.

The 23-year-old striker struggled for games at Portsmouth last season and Town did offer him a way out of Portsmouth but he has decided to stay with Portsmouth.

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp: "Ipswich are interested in David, but he didn't want to go there. He needs to play games, though."
