Striker Bid Rejected

FC Köln sporting director Michael Meier has revealed that Town have made a formal offer for Slovenian international striker Milivoje Novakovic which has been rejected.

The 29-year-old striker has scored 31 goals in 51 games for Köln and is currently contracted until the summer of 2011, but that is besides the point as Köln have no wish to sell.

Meier: "Ipswich have made us a written offer that was not bad, but we will not sell Novakovic. He is not for sale."

I have no idea but 31 Goals in 51 Games isn't half bad!
