Both Town and Crystal Palace have confirmed that Alan Lee is under going a medical at Selhurst Park with a view to a move to Crystal Palace.

The 30-year-old striker is reported to be one of the players Town manager Jim Magilton wants to ship out of Portman Road after passing his "sell by date" and today could be his final day at Town if personal terms can be agreed.

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock: "We've had a bid for Alan Lee accepted - and hopefully we can tie up a deal and get him on board.

"But it's far from a done deal - we are a bit apart with regards to personal terms.

"He is having a medical and we are still hoping to agree a deal."

Town chief executive Derek Bowden: "We have accepted an offer from Crystal Palace for Alan," Derek told the Club website.

"He has been having a medical there and is now speaking to them with regards to personal terms. As far as I'm aware they have not been agreed yet."

So we have Counago and Lisbie as our strikeforce??? and what happens when one of them gets injured?? we have Haynes, who only seems to have one good game a season(against norwich) and Jordan Rhodes who Jim won't give a full 90 minutes to?? Lee looks alot fitter this season and I feel shipping him out to one of our promotion rivals is going to be a BIG mistake!!!!!!(Sm31)(Sm31)
