Jim On Wright Return

Town manager Jim Magilton says David Wright will be in contention for a place in the Town line up following a successful return from injury last night.

Wright returned to action for Town's reserve side last night in 3-3 draw with Colchester's second string last night, scoring an 89th minute goal for Town and Jim couldn't be happier with his timely return to fitness.

Jim: "David (Wright) had not played since the Preston game, so this was an important match for him.

"He's a very important player for us, and David's return will give us yet more competition for places. He did well at right-back and capped his performance with the late goal. He's a good pro.

"Of course he will now be in contention for a first team place, especially as we have a lot of games coming up."
