Rhodes Joins Rochdale

Town striker Jordan Rhodes has joined League Two side Rochdale on-loan for a month as his chances at Portman Road could be limited this season.

The 18-year-old striker is expected to be in the Rochdale squad for their game against Rotherham tomorrow afternoon.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "We have let Jordan go out on loan for a month, when the opportunity came up, he was happy to say yes and we are happy for him to go but it's only for a month at this stage.

"He benefited from his loan spell at Oxford and going to Rochdale will allow him to play first team football week in, week out, which can only be good for his long term progress here."

OMG He's totally losing the bl00dy plot!!!!
Maybe James if you played him from the start and not just for the last 15 mins you will see, this lad actually scores goals!!!!!! Av' a look at the reserve League he scores every piggin' game!!!

a very big mistake, rather would have him than simon stead, rhodes is part of the overall set up, stead is going to have to fit in, it would take more time for stead to fit in
