Jim: I’ll Pick My Team

Town manager Jim Magilton says he will continue to change his team depending on the opposition rather then stick with the same players.

Jim has drawn criticism from some Town fans for not sticking with a winning team and playing players out of position, but Jim says he will continue to change his side depending on the opposition.

Jim: "I will pick whatever team I see fit and people can make any judgements they want.

"I will pick whatever side I think can win a game of football. It is not about my best XI it s about the players I think can win the game.

"Until you all stop going on about it and allow me to do my job I will carry on making changes."

he's trying to prove he is "his own man" and won't be told different, the pressure is starting to tell, if as he says he'll do as he thinks, so will marcus evans and who knows what he would do, back him? or sack him, i think it will be the latter

Graham Taylor was his own man at the exasperation of the fans. Some of Benitez's cock ups come when being his own man with Liverpool, chopping and changing. I'm not a fan of this continental approach tbh.
