Town striker Pablo Counago will miss the Carling Cup game against Wigan Athletic on Wednesday night after injuring his ankle.
Pablo injured his ankle in training on Friday and was forced to miss the game against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, he will now miss the Wigan game and is a major doubt for the game against Palace on Saturday.
Pablo Counago has been ruled out of Wednesday's Carling Cup tie against Wigan and is a major doubt for the weekend clash against Crystal Palace.
The Spanish striker sustained an ankle ligament injury blocking a shot from Veliche Shumulikoski in training on Friday and was withdrawn from the squad for the trip to Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.
Town physio Matt Byard: "Pablo wanted to play at Sheffield but we couldn't let that happen, he has damaged the ligaments in the ankle and it's quite swollen at the moment. He certainly won't be playing against Wigan and it's looking doubtful for the weekend.
"He is seeing a specialist over the next day or so, when the swelling goes down and we will know more then."
