Town defenders Gareth McAuley and Alex Bruce are expected train tomorrow ahead of Town's game against Swansea on Saturday.

McAuley and Bruce both picked up knocks while playing for their countries this week but both should train tomorrow and come into contention for Town's game against Swansea.

Town physio Matt Byard: "Alex trained today and is expected to train again on Friday and it looks as though he will be okay for the weekend, Gareth had some stiffness in his back which has left him with a sore hamstring and he was substituted for Northern Ireland in the second-half against San Marino, mainly as a precaution really.

"We have had a look at him. He had some rest today anyway after being away and we will have another check over in the morning but hopefully he should be able to train fully and be ready for the weekend. We will know more after training on Friday."
