Duos Scouting Trip

Town coaches Steve Foley and Bryan Klug have made use of the international break and went to Spain on a scouting mission.

Klug and Foley are believed to have taken in a couple of Spanish second division games during their trip, which involved keeping an eye on players in readiness for the January transfer window.

Foley: "We were not just looking at players for certain positions, we were taking advantage of the international break to do some research with the opening of the January transfer window in mind.

"Top clubs like Manchester United are constantly bringing in newcomers, and although our current squad is much more talented than it was 12 months ago you have to keep them on their toes.

"There was the opportunity to have a look at players in Spain and we took it, and we have made our reports."
