Report: Forest 1-1 Town

Town had to come from behind to earn a draw against Nottingham Forest at The City Ground earlier tonight.
Forest were looking for their first win since August and looked to be on their way to it as early as the 2nd minute as Garath McCleary was on hand to follow-up Julian Bennett's scuffed shot, only to see his goal ruled out for offside.
Town came within a whisker of taking the lead in the 18th minute, when Jon Walters, who was playing as part of a 5 man midfield, was allowed to shoot from 30-yards, the effort looked to be heading in but hit the bar.
The home side took the lead after 31 minutes, Town failed to deal with a corner fully and the ball fell to McCleary just outside the box, who fired the ball home past Town goalkeeper Richard Wright.
Town did draw level early in the second half, Paul Anderson tripped Alan Quinn just inside the box and the referee awarded Town a penalty, which Tommy Miller converted to keep up his record of scoring spot kicks for Town.
Forest reacted to the Town goal by bringing on more attack minded players and being more aggressive at set pieces, which caused Town no end of problems. Joel Lynch was denied by a last ditch tackle from Richard Naylor and Forest centre back Wes Morgan headed just wide.
