Bowditch Joins Brentford

Town striker Dean Bowditch has joined League Two side Brentford on-loan until January after struggling to make the Town first team squad this season.

The 22-year-old has been limited to playing in Town's reserve side this season, where he has scored 5 goals. He has joined The Bees until January the 10th but called back by Town if needed.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "I still have a lot of faith in Dean. He is a very, very good footballer and has a future in the game.

"He needs games though and Brentford will give him a good opportunity to play.

"They are a very good footballing side, as we saw in pre-season, and they are doing well in the league so Dean joins a side high in confidence."

Brentford are currently 4th in League Two, 3 points off leaders Wycombe.
