Town will be looking to bounce back from the 1-1 draw with Charlton in midweek with three points against Gareth Ainsworth's QPR side.

Town will be able to welcome back David Norris, who missed the Charlton game due to suspension, Pim Balkestein is back after an injury. Danny Haynes is doubt with an abdominal strain and Ben Thatcher is not yet match fit.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "QPR are having one of their best starts to a season for a while so I was surprised that Iain left the club recently, There has been a lot of speculation about why he left Rangers, with reports suggesting that he wasn't having total control of team selection. Iain is a close friend of mine, and knowing him as well as I do, if that was the case then he wouldn't accept that and would see it as a matter of principle. I'd be the same myself.

"They are strong and well organised.

"They have a lot of good players and I think they will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season, challenging for the top six.

"They obviously have plenty of financial backing and I'm sure they will bring in new players in January if they feel that is the right thing to do.

"It will be a big challenge for us but we are on a decent run with only one defeat in 10 games and will be looking to extend that at the weekend."

QPR will be without Mikele Leigertwood who will be serving the first game of a four game ban for the red card he picked up against Birmingham, coming back from suspension is Defender Damien Delaney is back from suspension and striker Patrick Agyemang is back from injury.
