Wright: I’d Play For Scots

Town defender David Wright says he would accept a call to represent the Scottish national team if George Burley wanted him too.

Wright: "My mum and brother and sister were born in Glasgow so there is a lot of Scottish blood in my family, it would be a great honour if I had the chance to play for Scotland. I'd love it.

"I sent off copies of birth certificates and documents a few years ago to show that I qualified to play for Scotland but didn't hear anything.

"I'm not sure if that was because the manager at the time didn't want me or if the papers got lost in the system but I've heard that George Burley knows I qualify and if I get the chance to represent Scotland it would be a massive thrill."
