Draw Was Fair – Jim

Town manager Jim Magilton feels the draw with Coventry earlier today was a fair result and he has praised the Town character after they came from behind twice.
Jim: "We showed tremendous character to come back. We twice went behind but I'm delighted with the response.
"It looked a blatant push on Richard Naylor for the second goal
"We played the ball around very well at times and passed it well.
"Kevin Lisbie's movement was excellent - he deserved both goals. My team showed great character to come back and it speaks volumes of the character in the side
"It is a point and they are difficult to come by in the Championship but it was probably a fair result.
"I was pleased with the way the formation worked. After three away defeats we decided we wanted to control possession and for large chunks we did that.
"We had a lot of midfielders who want the ball so it was good but there are things to work on.
"I would like to be top six, or top two but we are not. We are halfway and it is a marathon. We are in a pack of clubs who think we have an opportunity so we are going to keep going.
"We are hoping to do better and we are hoping Christmas to provide a springboard for the rest of the season.
"We are inconsistent on our day we are a match for any team in the division but we need more good days than bad.
"We are trying week in week out to find that consistency and we will work extremely hard to do that."
