Jim On Brum Defeat
By Aston
December 26 2008
Town manager Jim Magilton feels his Town side failed to create much during the 1-0 defeat against Birmingham earlier today.
Jim: "It was a scrappy affair and neither 'keeper had a lot to do really, we started well and passed the ball okay but when Danny Haynes went off we lost a bit of pace and it went a bit flat
"We gave away possession and then they gave it back to us. I didn't think Birmingham played that great but they keep churning out results and we're not doing that.
"It looked a soft penalty and having gone a goal down we should have come out in the second-half and really taken the game to them. We didn't have enough shots at goal though and we didn't get enough crosses in.
"We're the home side and it's down to us to force the issue but never really managed to get at them enough.
"We thought they might change their set-up and bringing Ivan in with his passing range might help us and it did, In the first-half he was excellent. He has played at the back in the Champions' League Final so he can cope and I thought he cruised through it."

If this guy loves the club as he says he does, he'd f\_/ck off and let sombody else take charge. We are going knowhere and give it a few more weeks and our season will be over. 8 points off the play-offs and 11 of the dropzone. Mediocre, mid-table rubbish!!!!!!
And the worse Town manager of all-time!!!!

Today we were not out played by Birmingham, they were just a little less average then us.
I know it looks bad at the moment but teams in worse places then us have put a run together and gone up based on their performance during the second half of the season.
Besides, he is in the job until the end of the season so their is no point wanting him out now.
