Town Face Chesterfield?

Town's FA Cup third round opponents now look to be Chesterfield after Droyslden were thrown out of the competition for fielding an ineligible player in the 2nd round tie against Chesterfield.

Sean Newton should have missed the game through suspension but an over sight on the part of the non-league side who played him, allowing him to score the 2 goals then sent Chesterfield out.

Droyslden intend to appeal the decision mean Town's 3rd round tie could be moved back to the 6th of January.
