Gorman Joins Staff

Town have confirmed that John Gorman will be joining the Town coaching staff as Jim Magilton's assistant in time for the FA Cup game on Saturday.

Town Chief Executive Derek Bowden: "Jim has been speaking to John over the last few weeks and it's all been agreed. It's only a case of finalising the paperwork now, which should be done on Wednesday and then John will be with us as assistant manager."

This will be the second time Gorman has been on the payroll at Portman Road, having worked briefly under George Burley in the 98/99 season.

Interestin' move this. Time to get Clarke and Bowditch back into the fold. Gorman could bring them on a bit.
