Town Face Chesterfield

It has been confirmed that Town will be taking on League Two side Chesterfield in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup after Droylsden lost their appeal against their removal.

Blue Square North Side Droylsden did beat Chesterfield 2-0 in the 2nd round just before Christmas but were removed from the competition for fielding an ineligible player during the game. They did appeal the decision but the FA are standing by their original choice and Droylsden will not be travelling to Portman Road on Saturday.

 

An FA statement read: "The FA can confirm that today's appeal by Droylsden FC against their removal from this season's FA Cup was unsuccessful."

lol I put that yesterday someone not up to date Chesterfield is the right time cause happen to Bury 2006
