Bruce Offered Deal

Town have confirmed that Alex Bruce has been offered a new two-year deal by the club in order to keep him at Portman Road beyond the summer.

The 24-year-old has been the subject of a lot of transfer speculation this month, with a number of clubs from both the UK and Europe reportedly keen on signing him this month.

Confirming the offer, Town's Chief Executive Derek Bowden: "We have been holding talks with Alex's representative over the past week or so and I can confirm that a new two year contract has been offered."
