Town had sold their entire allocation of 6000 tickets for the game at Chelsea on Saturday by early this afternoon.

Fans started queuing for tickets at 6:30 this morning and the queue for the phone system lasted as long as two hours this morning before all the tickets sold out.

Town's Ticket and Call Centre Manager John Ford: "It's been a very busy morning and the last of the tickets for the Chelsea game have now gone.

"We had around 2500 tickets available this morning and they were snapped up in the first three hours of trading, with the majority going to the supporters queuing up at Planet Blue.

"Obviously there will be fans who have missed out on tickets but we have 15,000 season ticket holders and only 6000 tickets for the game so there was always going to people who will be disappointed."

Town's Safety Officer, Mick Warden added: "We had supporters queuing up at the Club from around 6.30am this morning

"We had staff staying in regular communication with the fans and we calculated where the cut off point was in the queue in terms of the likelihood of getting a ticket or not as soon as it was possible."
