Liam Loaned to Scunny

Town midfielder Liam Trotter has joined League One side Scunthorpe United on-loan for a month.

The 20-year-old midfielder is out of contract at Town in the summer, but he is still highly rated by the Town coaching staff.

Town assistant manager John Gorman: "The move will give Liam a chance to play, but part of me is sorry to see him go as he is a good player, he will be very much back in our thoughts when he returns."

Trotter added: "I enjoyed the few days I spent with them, they are going well in League One, play good football and it's a chance for me to play first team football, which is what I need."
