McAuley: Stick With Us

Town captain Gareth McAuley has urged fans to stick with Town next season as he hopes to reward them with promotion.

McAuley: "Stick with us, we need you, and I'm sure we'll enjoy success together.

"We are just as keen as our supporters to win games, and we all want to see Ipswich Town back in the top flight.

"The atmosphere for our last home game against Nottingham Forest was fantastic.

"Everyone was right behind us and, together, we all want what's best for Ipswich Town.

"We need as many people behind us as possible.

"I know there's been a bit of frustration this season but we're within two points of the play-offs.

"Whether we can reward our fans with promotion this season or not, we need our fans' continuing support and backing."
