Richards Hoping For Another Chance

Town midfielder Matt Richards says the arrival of Roy Keane as Town manager has given him another chance to forge a career at Portman Road.

Richards: "The new manager coming in has been given me a chance and I'm thankful for that. I did okay against Cardiff and hopefully I will get another chance to show the manager what I can do on Sunday," Matt tells the Club website.

"It's been a long time, two years. I have never given up though. I have come in and trained hard and just kept going.

"I've had a chance to show the new manager what I can do and it will be a case now of seeing if I am part of his plans for the future.

"There are a lot of us out of contract in the summer and the manager has obviously got a lot of thinking to do. The door might be a little bit more open for me now, who knows. I definitely want to stay if that is possible."
