Lisbie Loaned To U’s

Town striker Kevin Lisbie has returned to former club Colchester United on a season long loan.
The 30-year-old scored 17 goals in his one season at Col U, before moving onto Town last summer, but he only managed 6 goals.
Lisbie is the second striker to leave Portman Road in a matter of days after Jordan Rhodes joined Huddersfield last week.

Good glad he's gone, I do hope keano has a striker lined up though. Wickham, stead and the bone idle Counago, will not be enough firepower to even get a play-off place. We should have gone for Beckford from Leeds whilst he was on the transfer list. No doubt we'll end up with a top class Irish striker from Tiperrery Town or Dublin Rovers!!!

we have three front men who ain't scored 40 goals between them last season and lisbie's loan-out should (i hope) mean another signing but where from?

A season loan? Why - that means he'll be back next summer - having scored another 17 goals for Colchester!
Ok - its not worked out for Lisbie so just let him go and look elsewhere.
