Colback Joins On-Loan

Town have signed 19-year-old midfielder Jack Colback on-loan from Sunderland until January.
Jack has yet to make his Sunderland debut but has featured in pre-season games under Roy Keane when he was in charge at The Stadium of Light.
Colback: "I went to see Steve Bruce about going out on loan and he mentioned Ipswich, it's a massive club and obviously I know about the manager here, Roy Keane, from his time at Sunderland. I was in the youth team when he was at the club but I trained with the first team under him and played in a few friendlies.
"I know what he wants from his players and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to work with him again. It's a great chance for me to push my career on. I played a lot of reserve team football last season and going out on loan to a Championship club seemed the next step to make.
"Joining until January gives me a chance to settle down as well. It gives me the opportunity to hopefully make my mark here. I know there are some really good players here so there is going to be plenty of competition for places but I'm ready for it. I'm here to play first team football and do well for Ipswich."
