Town take on Leicester City tomorrow afternoon, looking to get their first points of the new Championship season.
Town will be missing David Norris who has been ruled out for 3 months with a knee injury, he is joined on the sidelines by Ben Thatcher, Pablo Counago and Luciano Civelli.
Some of Town's youngsters may keep a place in the squad following their win against Shrewsbury in the Carling Cup, but the team is likely to be closer to the one that lost to Coventry on the opening weekend of the season.
Town manager Roy Keane: "We've tried a few different things and I want my team to have variation and to be adaptable to 4-4-2, 4-3-3 or whatever it might be. I think with the players I have at the club at the moment, that seems to suit us best.
"I would definitely see it as 4-3-3. I suppose if we get beaten people will say it's 4-5-1 and that it's boring and defensive, but I see it as 4-3-3."
Possible Town squad: R Wright, Supple, Bruce, D Wright, McAuley, Balkestein, Delaney, Healy, Walters, Garvan, Quinn, Trotter, Peters, Martin, Stead, Wickham, Priskin, Colback, Smith, O'Connor, Upson, Lambe.
Leicester manager Nigel Pearson: "It is really going to be very competitive I think Ipswich are one of those sides who would expect themselves to be in and around the promotion shake-up. It will be a good yardstick for us.
"We have got off to a decent start but it is very much about the next game and we have to make sure when we start we are ready for it."
Possible Leicester City squad: Weale, Morrison, Brown, Berner, Oakley, Wellens, Dyer, Fryatt, Howard, O'Neill, N'Guessan, Adams, Waghorn, Logan, Neilson, Gradel, Dickov, King, Ajdarevic, Powell.
Referee: Mr P Crossley (Kent).
