Town In Murphy Talks

Sunderland manager Steve Bruce says talks between Town and Sunderland are still on going regarding the sale of Daryl Murphy.

It was reported last week that Town were on the edge of signing the 26-year-old striker for £1.5 million but those reports were then rubbished by media outlets suggesting Town were in fact close to signing Bohemian's goalkeeper Brain Murphy.

But Sunderland boss Bruce has revealed talks are still ongoing between his club and ours, saying: "Talks are ongoing as I understand it and we will just have to wait and see if these talks come to anything,"
