Lee-Barrett Joins Town

Town have signed Arran Lee-Barrett on a short term contract to replace Shane Supple who retired from football yesterday.
The 25-year-old Ipswich born 'keeper was released by Hartlepool at the end of last season but has been training with Town recently thanks to his link with Town goalkeeping coach Jim Hollman.
Arran: "It was obviously very disappointing for me when the Club released me but it's great to be back now and hopefully I can show what I can do, it's a fantastic opportunity for me and I'm grateful to the manager for the chance. The challenge for me now is to try and impress him and win a longer contract."
"I suppose it's a case of being in the right place at the right time, I asked Jim if I could train with Ipswich a few weeks back and the manager agreed. I've known Jim for a long time, we worked together when I was a youth team player at Norwich before I joined Cardiff.
"With Shane leaving this week, I got a call from the manager offering me a chance here and grabbed it. It's a great opportunity for me to join a top club. I can only benefit from training alongside Richard Wright but I want to push him for his place as much as I can."
