Preview: WBA – Town

Town take on West Brom at The Hawthorns tomorrow (KO 5:20pm), looking for their first win of the new season.

Town will be missing David Norris, Luciano Civelli, Ben Thatcher, Pablo Counago and Jaime Peters while Lee Martin is a doubt. Alan Quinn and Owen Garvan could come into the starting line up.

Town manager Roy Keane: "We have had West Brom watched over the last couple of games and they have played some excellent football, it's obviously a big test for us but from our point of view it's a good game. West Brom are among the favourites to be promoted and have confirmed that the way they have started and I'm looking for the players to go out and relax and enjoy their football.

"We have not got up and running yet and we certainly have to improve in terms of results and in the quality of our play as well.

"We can't keep giving ourselves mountains to climb by conceding two goals so we have to defend better generally. We have to take care of the ball better and we also have to start taking our chances. Against Palace the other night, even though we didn't play well we created chances in the last 15 minutes so we have to find someone to stick the ball in the net.

"We will find out about the character of the players we have at this Club over the next few weeks and months."

The baggies will be missing Graham Dorrans, Gianni Zuiverloon, Ishmael Miller, James Morrison, and Neil Clement.

Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo: "We have to focus on ourselves and not think about whoever we face, Ipswich will be very determined because they want to pick up some points.

"They'll probably come to The Hawthorns and make our life as difficult as possible and will try not to give us any chances.

"We have to be able to deal with that because most teams will come to our ground and try and sit deep with a lot of bodies.

"I think at the end of the season Ipswich will be up there."

I expect a roasting 4-0 to West Brum. After all my pre-season expectation, its turning out to be a repeat of last year!! Its a funny old game though and we could cause an upset tomorrow and then who knows???

Im not Aston lol Im still wearing my shirt its not riped and in the bin yet lol. But 2 goals again lol Keane is getting that right maybe he should join us lol
