Roy: No Complaints

Town manager Roy Keane has no complaints following Towns 1-1 draw with Preston at Portman Road earlier today, despite playing against 10 men for half the game.

Keane: "It was frustrating but I don't think we did enough to win the game, we had a lot of half chances but the hardest part of football is putting the ball in the back of the net and we didn't do that in the second-half.

"When Preston went down to 10 men, it should have been easier in terms of moving the ball a bit quicker and more penetration but we huffed and puffed but never really opened that up.

"We had no player today with the quality that could go and get a goal for us so I can have no complaints over the result.

"The effort was there, I can't fault the players for that but we lacked the quality in the final third and that is what football is all about.

"Having got back in the game with the penalty, when we were going for it we were causing ourselves problems because they were hitting us on the break. It was up to us to break them down though and we didn't so no complaints."

what the f**k is roy keane talking about, still conceding goals, not scoring enough and not winning against a medicore 10 man team, heard it all now

I can't have any complaints about the result and I can't fault my players but I suppose this shows why we're trying to add to our squad.

"At the moment we're nowhere near but I'm expecting a busy couple of days.

"I certainly won't be putting my feet up and hopefully I can bring three, maybe four, players in before Tuesday."

Manager Alan Irvine on his Preston team:
"They're a terrific group of players. They know their limitations but they also know they'll get rewarded for working hard.


And true Duck wtf is Roy on about when will he get this team sorted he has a week off now to get it sorted before fans start walking away from games I bet though I bet they have already no one will pay to see Ipswich lose unless a real fan but alot money still to.
