David Healy Linked

Town are again being linked with Sunderland striker David Healy, who was linked during the summer and constantly while Town were under the management of Jim Magilton.

The 30-year-old striker has struggled to make an impact at club Level for Sunderland but he has scored 35 times in 75 appearances for Northern Ireland.

Started his career at Manchester United before loan moves to Port Vale and Preston North End, he joined Preston permanently and went to score 43 goals in 136 appearances. He was then loaned out to Norwich before joining Leeds where he scored 29 goals in 111 games, he left Leeds following their relegation from the Championship he joined Fulham but fell out of favour at Craven Cottage when Roy Hodgson took over from Laurie Sanchez and joined Sunderland in August last year.

Here we go again - Loan window opens tomorrow and already the familiar faces are getting linked - Murphy and Wood to follow.

PS - Stead, Garvan and Quinn to leave on loan too!

would'nt be a bad player to have really but if macauley was to go out on loan (1 big wish) it would be the icing on the cake for me
