Town痴 poor start to the season continued today, with a 3-1 defeat against Middlesbrough at The Riverside earlier today.

The home side took the lead after 17 minutes when Gary O'Neil headed in a Marvin Emnes cross.

The home side extended their lead in the 66th minute when Jeremie Aliadiere with a header from inside the box, just 5 minutes after coming on.

Aliadiere added his second of the game with 5 minutes to when he was given enough space in the box to turn in the box before firing into the net.

Town got one goal back in the 5th minute of stoppage time when Jon Walters was tripped in the box and awarded a penalty, which Walters took and converted.

Middlesbrough: Coyne; McMahon, Wheater, Hines, Taylor (sub Grounds 41); O'Neil, Arca (Yeates 78), Williams, Johnson; Lita (Aliadiere 61), Emnes.
Substitutes: Jones, Hoyte, Bennett, Franks.

Goals: O'Neil (17), Aliadiere (66, 85)

Have to agree about Delaney, seems left back is a curse at Portman Road

We keep chopping and changing boys. Can't honestly give a proper verdict til things settle down and we need a win of some sort for that to stand a chance of happening. (Sm17)
