Keane: No End Product
By Aston
September 12 2009
Town manager Roy Keane again bemoaned his sides lack of fire power following the 3-1 defeat against Middlesbrough earlier today.
Keane: "Box to box we were okay but we could not find the net at one end and conceded too easily at the other, we keep making things difficult for ourselves by conceding goals and it's obviously very disappointing.
"The three new lads did ok and they bring quality to the side but you can't win matches with three players, however much difference they make.
"We've got to go again against Nottingham Forest. I have made changes and have given players opportunities and some others may get a chance on Tuesday night."

Counago did'nt do much(as usual), Walters was playing half striker/ half winger from what I could see and he is useless as a striker. Priskin looks to me as a carbon copy of Counago, always has his back to goal, may be ok at holding the ball up, but no way is he going to get 15-20 goals a season.
I afraid Keano has had 4 months to bring in this prolific scorer and he has failed.(he's let one go though)

from i what i heard and read, i just think that he is clutching at straws and offering p*** poor excuses, the thing is we have a severe lack of experience in of being a manager in roy keane, the players are not responding to his methods as they did to jim magilton, 3-4 seasons is no way enough to be a good manager, if he was a good manager other clubs would have snapped him up, he should have started in the lower leagues and worked his way up. roy keane wants things be at his high standards, standards as a player or manager?
